About Callemondah Dahlias
A family love of growing
My grandfather passed his love of dahlias to my father, and Dad passed it on to me. I joined the Dahlia Society at 20 and was its youngest member by about 30 years.
Dad and I are still highly competitive about who grows the best dahlias.
More than 30 years later, dahlias remain one of my greatest joys. Callemondah Dahlias is my home garden in Ferny Creek, in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges.
This site is a place to share the dahlias I grow, photographs from across the season and some of what I’ve learned along the way. From time to time, a limited number of surplus tubers may be available.
