Return and Refund Policy

This policy applies to dahlia tubers and any other products purchased from Callemondah Dahlias.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy available under that law.

Please inspect your order promptly

Dahlia tubers are living plant material and should be unpacked and inspected promptly after delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, significantly deteriorated, incorrectly supplied or otherwise not as described, please contact Callemondah Dahlias as soon as possible through the website contact form.

Where possible, include:

• your name and order number;
• a description of the problem; and
• clear photographs of the tuber, packaging and mailing label.

Providing this information promptly helps us assess what has occurred. It does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

If a product does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, the available remedy will depend on the nature and seriousness of the problem and may include a replacement, refund or another remedy required by law.

Please do not return living plant material unless Callemondah Dahlias asks you to do so.

Change of mind

Because tubers are seasonal living material supplied in limited quantities, refunds or exchanges are not generally provided where you:

• change your mind;
• order the wrong variety or quantity;
• no longer want the product; or
• fail to consider whether the variety is suitable for your garden or climate.

This does not affect your rights where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Natural variation and growing results

Dahlia tubers and the plants grown from them may naturally vary in size and appearance.

Successful growth depends on factors outside our control, including storage after delivery, planting time and depth, soil, drainage, watering, climate, pests, disease and general care. We cannot guarantee a particular growth rate, plant size, flowering time, bloom appearance or number of flowers.

This does not exclude responsibility for a tuber that was faulty or not as described when supplied.

Order cancellation

If you ask to cancel an order before it has been packed or dispatched, Callemondah Dahlias may agree to the cancellation and refund.

Once an order has been packed or dispatched, it generally cannot be cancelled for change of mind.

Callemondah Dahlias may cancel and refund an order if:

• stock is unavailable;
• a product was listed incorrectly;
• payment cannot be processed;
• delivery is unavailable to the nominated address; or
• plant-health, quarantine or biosecurity restrictions prevent supply.

Delivery addresses and returned parcels

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an order is returned because the address provided was incorrect or incomplete, or because delivery was not accepted or collected, any resupply will be subject to stock condition, availability and additional delivery costs.
